Islay 14 is a touring kayak with the most popular length – 14 feet!
A longer kayak means a faster kayak and corresponding coverage over longer distances. Islay 14 is close to sea kayaks, which are made for long trips, while offering greater stability and maneuverability!
This is the ideal kayak for beginners and intermediates who want to paddle in lakes, dams and slow rivers, but want to kayak also at sea and explore the coast, feeling comfortable, stable and safe.
In Islay 14 you can take enough luggage for a weekend trip.
The kayak is available at the factory with a skeg, which should be quite enough, but can also be equipped with a rudder if desired.
The seat is extremely comfortable and the backrest is high, for more relaxed paddling, more comfort and rest at the waist.
The cockpit is large and allows easy getting into and out of the kayak.
Islay 14 Fit 4 Sport is equipped as standard with:
