Four-day kayak training for beginners in Greece

The kayak training is carried out by qualified instructors. Our goal is to teach you and we can do it! The interest of the people to whom we sell kayaks and not only is great and we respond with pleasure.

Day one:

Departure early in the morning from the meeting point in Sofia. The trip will last about 7 hours with breaks. When we arrive, we check into the campsite and have lunch at the local tavern.

We head to the beach, where we will conduct a briefing, acquaintance with the kayaks and equipment and free paddling, in which the instructors will assess the individual skills of the participants. We will focus on the paddling technique.

Second day:

After breakfast, we head to the beach. We will practice in the following:

• Launching and landing
• Proper forward paddling
• Proper paddling backwards
• Stopping
• Maintaining a straight-line course
• Correcting and changing course, turning techniques
• Moving sideways
• Basic techniques to prevent capsizing

There will also be “free time” in which you will be able to focus on the more difficult exercises for you, if you wish.

Third day:

• Repetition of what you learned in the second day
• Self-rescue in case of capsizing (getting into the kayak from the water)
• T-rescue in deep water (group rescue)
• Introduction to the roll

Fourth day:

Free program. We continue to reinforce what we have learned with anyone who wants to kayak and improve. We pack our bags and leave for Sofia at 12:00 at the latest.

Conditions:

• • We will send you additional information about everything you need to bring after enrolling in the training.
  • We provide everything you need for kayak training, including individually suitable for each single kayak and accessories, as well as tents and mats.
  • The price does not include the accommodation. Transport is free, but if you wish, you can use your own transport, and the price does not change.
  • The program can be changed depending on the participants’ progress in the training and the water temperature.
  • You will receive certificates for your participation in the course.
  • Deposit of 25 EUR is required after enrollment. It is returned if the training does not take place due to non-gathering of a group or objective circumstances related to travel restrictions or serious deterioration of the weather conditions.

• The training takes place when a group of 6 people gathers or at a payment of 1080 EUR in total of the participants, if they are less than 6 people and everyone agrees.
• If you sign up no later than 2 months before the training date, you will receive a 10% discount on the announced price.
