Beach is a 2 pc aluminum shaft paddle with hard fibrilon blades.
It is ideal for leisure paddling in the bay and along the coast with sit-on-top or the inflatable kayaks we offer.
The 2 pc paddle Beach is the successor to the popular Swoop paddle and is manufactured in the same place: at the Tahe plant in France – Egalis. The difference is that Beach also has drop rings, which is not visible in the photo.
The blade angle can be adjusted in 3 positions: 0 degrees for beginners or in the absence of wind, 65 and minus 65 degrees, depending on which hand is leading. Many people prefer 2 pc paddles because they can change this angle. For example, for childes, setting to 0 degrees is recommended. Children have difficulty learning to turn the paddle in the non-leading hand in order to keep the wrist straight.
*Fibrylon is a combination of two words: Fiber and Nylon and means nylon reinforced with fiberglass.
