Large anodized karabiner. It is suitable for most sizes of paddle shafts. It is used primarily for attaching and securing the paddle of a capsized kayaker but can also be used to tow kayaks. When you need two hands, you can attach the paddle and throw it into the water. It will act as a floating anchor and will keep the kayak perpendicular to the waves.
