Paddle float – an aid for re-entering the kayak after capsizing

Palm

An aid for re-entering the kayak after capsizing or for learning an Eskimo roll.

The paddle float attaches to a paddle blade and inflates with mouth. For convenience, there is only one air chamber. It grips and does not slip. It has a welded central seam and reinforced edging for durability.

Many kayaks have a special place or buckles behind the cockpit to hold the paddle in this type of self-rescue.

Our experience shows that Paddle float is used very successfully and gives great results in training for Eskimo roll. The increased buoyancy of the paddle allows the student to hold his face over the water, not to hurry and to work out his movements calmly.
