The Fuse is a new for 2025 waterproof (dry) pant from Palm featuring a breathable membrane, double waist and waterproof zip pocket.
Besides the high-tech fabric, these pants are unique in that they have a reinforced 4-layer sock with a breathable membrane that is part of the pant. You can actually wade waist-deep in the water and not get wet, and not be cold!
Comparing to the Atom, the Fuse has a waterproof zippered pocket, a larger water column, ankle tightening, and is stretchy, giving more freedom of movement.
Unlike the Atom, the Fuse does not have heavy duty reinforcement at the knees and buttocks.
The Fuse also have double fabric at the waist, pairing perfectly this way with jackets like the Chinook.
