Dry bags Classic

Brands

Palm’s dry bags are durable and resistant to wear. Even if they are submerged underwater, the luggage will not get wet!

Bags of 5, 10 and 15 liters are suitable for protecting clothes and objects in a sit-in kayak, and bags of 20 and 25 liters are more suitable for a sit-on-top kayak.

Dry bags for Sit-in kayak

It is possible for a small amount of water to penetrate into the luggage compartments of the kayak, enough to wet your clothes or sleeping bag. This can happen, for example, when capsizing or paddling in waves that often flood the deck of the kayak. But the more common reasons are:

  • not completely closed lid due to negligence (the most common cause)
  • Time-obsolete covers that no longer close tightly
  • Poor quality kayaks or covers
  • damage to the hull as a result of hitting an underwater rock (less common)

As experienced people who have already dried sleeping bags and tents during kayak excursions, we advise you to use dry bags!

Dry bags for sit-on-top kayak

This type of kayaks has an open deck and in two-seater models they do not have large closed luggage compartments.  They have a luggage compartment with elastic bands on the stern. These elastic bands secure a dry bag/bags or box. Needless to say, the exposed deck often gets wet.

With care for nature, the material does not contain PVC.
