4-day kayaking tour – Diaporos island, Vourvourou

Diaporos Island is located in the quiet bay of Vourvourou, Sithonia. The place is very best suited for kayaking for beginners because it is protected and even in strong winds no big waves come out. The beautiful and small sand  beaches are plentiful and offer great conditions for relaxation.

First day

Departure in the morning from the designated meeting place in Sofia. We will meet with those of you who travel with your own transport at the Rea campsite in the early afternoon. The trip will last about 7 hours with breaks. At the campsite, we will first pitch the tents and prepare the bivouac. We will begin with a briefing and an introduction to the kayaks and equipment, followed by a short trip to one of Diaporos Island’s beautiful beaches.

Second day

We will paddle north or south depending on the weather forecast, explore the coastline and rest on beautiful beaches with enough shade of trees. Taverns and entertainment are implied, so we will not describe everything here.

Third day

We will tour the island of Diaporos and we will rest on picturesque beaches that are accessible only from the water.

Fourth day

Free program.
We will be available to those who want to kayak for a short beach trip to the island.
We pack our bags and leave for Sofia at 12:00.

We provide you with experienced guides, sea kayaks and class equipment (paddles, life jackets, dry luggage bags..) and camping equipment (tents, mats). Travel insurance is mandatory and is included in the price.

• If you prefer to spend the night in a hotel, we can help you with the booking.
• The price does not include overnight stays at a campsite or hotel. Transport is free, but if you wish, you can use your own transport, and the price does not change.
• 10% discount on the announced price when booking more than 2 months before the start of the excursion.
• 25 EUR deposit is required after registration. The deposit is refunded if the excursion is canceled by us or in objective circumstances related to the inability to travel.
