The Viper is one extremely lightweight 2 pc carbon Greenland kayak paddle from Segla Gear that weighs only 720g.
The overflow between the shaft and the blades is smooth. There are practically no “shoulders”, which allows for a wider grip.
The assembly of the two parts of the carbon Greenland paddle is perfect: without any play.
The Viper carbon paddle is not affected by the wind. Even in strong winds, you will not feel resistance.
You can add interchangeable protectors for the tips of the paddle to protect against hitting rocks or bouncing off the shore when entering the surf.
When you use a Greenland paddle, you are more gentle on tendons and muscles and put less effort into each stroke.
The optimal length of the paddle is determined by measuring the distance from the ground to your bent fingers, which seem to be holding the paddle, on your arm extended above your head. If the paddle you choose is longer, it is OK. With this type of paddle, you usually paddle with a low angle, but paddling with a high angle is also possible.
